People look at me, and they see this happy bubbly giggly girl.
You have no clue what really goes on in my life, and what I’ve had to deal with.
It’s changing me. It’s destroying me. I don’t know how much more I can take.
I need to make a decision. I need to run away. The question is, how far do I run?
I bought my plane ticket. It is official. The countdown has begun. 18 days. NC isn’t the only place I plan on visiting, but some things are still up in the air. So for now, I really just wanted to write about all the things I am excited about for while I am in North Carolina.
First of all, family family family. I am really close to my family in NC, and I haven’t seen my two cousins out there since the last time I visited, back in Spring 2011. My cousin Emily had another baby. So not only am I excited to see AnnaLee all grown up (okay, she’s actually only 2 1/2), but I get to see that baby boy!
I’m also excited to see Emily’s new house, and the 2 new goats she got last year. She has a total of four goats now. They are cute. 4 goats, 2 dogs, 2 kids. I am excited for the memories we will make just at her house. Bonfires, board games, and good conversations.
I’m excited for the relaxing days I’ll be spending at my Aunts house. Movie nights and video games.
I can’t wait for the adventures we will go on. Climbing Chimney Rock, going tubing down a river, hanging at the Biltmore Estate, and hiking to waterfalls.
Finally, I am excited for what North Carolina brings. It’s beautiful smokey mountains, trees, beautiful downtown main streets, Asheville, and just everywhere you look is beautiful.
18 days and 5 hours until my Summer of Adventure begins.
